I’m sorry to hear that, Janey! The type of food coloring shouldn’t matter. If you try again, try adding more water, a teaspoon at a time to see if that helps the consistency.

I used gel & the result was a dry, crumbly mess :(. I followed the recipe exactly & it was neither too hot nor too cold in my kitchen.

Cant wait to try this with him. You didnt mention if we could also let it dry or low-bake it to dry it? He loves making things to give to others, little statues and the like.
