I also find that the ‘yes’ and ‘no’ seasons work on the opposite end too. i.e. you will have peaks and troughs where you can’t keep up with the opportunities and work, but then you will be scratching your head and pulling out your hair trying to get the work.

Owning your own business is TOUGH but damn it is good 🙂

Nailed it! I just want to add emphasis to finding a community of business owners you can chat with and be candid with because we all have days that even your best friend just won’t understand fully. I have a couple fellow shopkeepers who are JUST stationery and we have a constant line to each other for “those days” and “those people.” It’s essential.
